Our client Ian came to us for a glass balustrade system to form the railings around his brand new raised decking area in the garden which created a beautiful seating and dining area leading out from the rear patio doors.
The design chosen was our highly popular Stainless Steel Glass Balustrade System 1 which comprises satin polished tubular posts and handrails with clamped glass infill panels. The balustrade was formed into a fairly common style ‘U’ shape but leaving a gap for the access step down to the garden level.
Clear glass was used in this balustrade design, which is standard for most customers who wish to enjoy the view of their garden but enjoy the benefits of wind-reduction, a fall barrier, and the feeling of enclosing an area specifically for seating and dining.
For this particular glass balustrade our customer Ian simply provided his basic dimensions and we designed, manufactured and delivered the DIY kit for self-assembly. Our glass balustrade kits are simple to install with some basic tools and come with pre-drilled handrails and pre-assembled posts, all ready to go.
